Your Way And The One Mine

(A popular Mexican song:)
Loads of ungrateful memories, a letter that is not unread,
an picture was thrown on the floor and a cup of wine in my hand.
That's all there in my life, a life that is worthless,
A love story was lost because you did not want to be mine.
There only are dark clouds in my sky that portend a thousand night with sleepless,
a lot of forgotten, pain and treacheries and the sincere crying in my eyes.
I will be not able to follow your footsteps, your way is longer than the one mine,
you are going to look for others arms and I stay to keep my destiny,
I won't open your letter at all nor I will know what you have written,
I will put your picture in a frame and other cup of wine in my hand.

    (1) only people can be grateful or ungrateful
    (2) or: a thousand sleepless nights
    (3) I cannot explain the grammar rule, but this has to be "nor will I".

    1. It seems that the verb must come right after "nor". Other examples:
I'm not sleepy, nor am I tired.
I won't be there, nor will I be able to call in.
They were not surprised, nor were they even interested.
