(Protest song against dead penalty during period of Franco, this song succeeded in being camouflaged of the censorship as love song)
If I told you, my love, that I am afraid of dawn,
I don't know that stars are these ones, that hurt like threats,
neither I know that the moon is bleeding on the edge of its scythe.
I sense that after night, it will be the longest night,
I want that you don't abandon me, my love, at dawn.
Children, which we hadn't, hide in the sewers,
they is eating the last flowers, it seems that they guess
that the new day is coming with hungry from way back
A thousand of vultures in silent are spreading their wings,
Does not it destroy you, my love, this silent dance?,
damned dance of deads, gunpowder in the morning.

(1) better: I want you not to abandon me
(2) It's strange, but "dead" is a non-countable noun. It has no plural.
Thanks Matt, I love this friendly way of learning English
