The Santa Maria flagship

An American expert team have found the probably remains of "Santa Maria" ship, which was used to arrive to The Indies in 1492, which became to call America later. According to British journal "The independent" a team managed by Barry Clifford would have found a ship at bottom, off the coast in the north of Haiti.
The hypotesis, which  it is treated of said ship, gains momentum acording to recent studies and tests of arqueology, topography. In adition, travel books of Christopher Columbus have been analized too with interesting indications about the last trip of this ship.

The strangest thing about it is that I have found some pieces of news in American (all American countries)  and British journals but nothing in Spanish journals.  Will be the ship full of golden coins?(smile).

Well done. Only a few grammatical errors. The rest are matters of style.

*I moved this here so that the "which came" clause comes right after "the Indies".

**"To arrive" refers only to the last act of a trip, not the entire trip.

    1. It's good that we are not dependent on the news in a single language.
