Oraciones útiles

1) Yesterday, my mp3 player broke while I was running along the streets of my city. If I had had a little bit more of care, I wouldn't have broken it.

La Gramática

Me parece que hay muchas opiniones diferentes de que es la mejor manera aprender un idioma.  Esta tarde, entré en una sala de chat con gente inglés y español.  Estábamos debatiendo sobre la gramática español y un hombre español, me dijo que no es vale la pena estudiar la gramática y que se debería aprender español como los bebés, escuchar y repetir lo que escucha.  Creo que esto es bueno para los bebés pero no para los adultos.  En otro lado no creo que es una buena idea estudiar la gramática constantemente, por ejemplo, repitiendo los verbos como un loro, pero creo que se tiene que saber cómo conjugar los verbos, especialmente los verbos irregulares.  Es muy fácil decir se debería aprender la misma manera que aprende un bebé, pero los bebés escuchan sus padres hablando todo el tiempo, para un estudiante no es lo mismo, se tiene que saber sobre la estructura de las frases y muchas más, muchos estudiantes no tienen la oportunidad de escuchar y hablar español por horas.

This week I was organizing all the entries that I have posted to the now-defunct site Lenguajero and its spin-off Scribblando. I filed all the posts by date in a folder. In total, I have written over 30 posts. 

After reviewing all the posts, I have found repeated mistakes in the usage of two specific words: prepositions and articles. In fact, there is a preposition error in almost all the entries. I try as much as I can to use prepositions correctly, but it is so difficult and frustrating. However, I have an alibi, native speakers frequently use prepositions incorrectly too. So be careful with your google results when looking for advice on the correct usage of a preposition.

I appreciate Matt and Kathryn for their valuable comments in all these writings. They have been excellent English teachers.

In conclusion, even though sometimes I run out of topics, I want to continue improving my writing skills. Practice makes perfect!
