(2) Now this is really strange... We would not say "she" here. We would say "it". The "it" either refers to the couple, or is meaningless as in "It is difficult to wake up".
(3) "crosshairs" would work here too
I don't know if you can explain the difference between "by approaching" and "upon approaching"
ReplyDeleteI think of "by approaching" as the same as "by means of approaching" or "por medio de acercarse". "He got rich by stealing from his employer." "Upon approaching" is more like "When he approaches/d" or "Al acercarse". "Upon talking to his boss, he found out that he had been fired."
