If You Don't Come Back

If you don't come back, all seas will dry
and I will wait without you, walling the bottom of some memory,
if you don't come back my willpower will get small,
I will stay here close to my dog, spying horizons.

If you don't come back, there will be only deserts left
and I will listen in case any beat left in this land,

she was so serene when you loved me,
there was a fresh perfume which I was breathing,
she was so nice and was this great and didn't have end.

And every night will come a star to keep me company
which says you how am I and you know what happens,
tell me my love, I am here, don't you see?
If you don't come back, there won't be life,
I don't know what am I going to do.

If you don't come back, there won't be hope nor there won't be anything,
I will walk without you with my sorrow drinking rain,
....Lyrics.

  1. If you don't come back, all THE seas will dry UP
and I will wait without you, walling IN the bottom of some memory,
if you don't come back my willpower will get small(1),
I will stay here close to my dog, spying(2) horizons.

If you don't come back, there will be only deserts left
and I will listen in case FOR any beat left in this land,

THAT was so serene when you loved me,
there was a fresh perfume which I was breathing,
IT was so nice and was this great and didn't have AN end.

And every night will come a star to keep me company
which TELLS you how I AM and you know what happens,
tell me, my love, I am here, don't you see?
If you don't come back, there won't be life,
I don't know what am I going to do.

If you don't come back, there won't be hope nor WILL there be anything,
I will walk without you with my sorrow drinking rain,

    (1) better: shrink, diminish, decline
    (2) better: watching

  2. the Inversions are interesting, can I say:
don't you come back, there won't be hope nor will there be anything, ??

  3. Yes, what you wrote is OK. The inversion is connected to the negative "nor". We saw another example with "neither", here:

  4. wow!, your memory is prodigious
besides I did another inversion here "don't you come back, ..." instead of using "if" at the begining
