Selective Memory

I could hardly to reach up to where I was. I was aware of it as much as I was also of which I was never going to be better placed like now. But something lacked me. What was it? Why am I having that empty feeling? I was denying the evidence, I knew, but I couldn't bear the reality, and my selective memory helped me to it.

I learnt not to remember to you, to forget that embraces which you gave me and saved me from all evil of the world. Memories forgotten deliberately. Kept in a drawer of our memory by the way.Lyrics
