White Flight of Seagull

With flight of seagull over a sea of blue shadows,
you look like my dreams, they never have a end.

We keep by stopping at the long night,
when we hardly breathe
upon building against hatred our freedom.

White flight of seagull upon reflecting on the waves,
by staining by tar, we are destroying your home.

Who will know to write the history
by refreshing the memory,
if we don't open the windows
all will remain the same.

High flight, white flight
we who are walking from ground level,
we who always envy you upon hearing you to quack.

Who will be the sacred fire
which will give a new impulse
which takes us towards that wind of freedom

  1. With THE flight of A seagull over a sea of blue shadows,
you look like my dreams, they never have aN end.

We keep by stopping(1) IN/THROUGH the long night,
    when we hardly breathe
[] building OUR FREEDOM against hatred.

White flight of A seagull [] reflecting on the waves,
[] stainED by tar, we are destroying your home.

Who will know HOW to write the history
    by refreshing the memory,
if we don't open the windows
    all will remain the same.

    High flight, white flight
we who are walking ON ground level,
we who always envy you upon hearing you [] CALL.

Who will be the sacred fire
which will give a new impulse
which takes us towards that wind of freedom

    (1) This doesn't sound right, but I'm not sure how to translate "anclados". Anchored? Clinging to each other?
    (2) To me, only ducks "quack". There are many other words for the sounds that birds make. "Call" would be the most general.

  2. (1) Estar anclado = to be in a place where you can hardly move, but it is not very commented
    (2) I have found: "squawks of the seagulls"

  3. Before I wrote "call", I wrote "squawk"!

  4. Anyway it's a word hard to remember. Thanks a lot.
