I Will Return

I met her in the tavern, I saw her and ordered a cup of wine,
she says to me: come to my table and I say to her: come with me.
We both went upstairs to old room, until the dawn we loved each other,
she accompanied me up to my ship and I gave her my ring as a memento.

I will return, I will return because I love you, I will return up to your port,
I will return, you will be my star if you wait me, I will return.

I have not returned through tavern.
She ask for me to the sailors, she sit there next to door and sighs at my return.
If anyone gives her any cup, she goes out because she shows him my ring.
It isn't a broken promise, it is already the story of a commitment.

she saID to me: come to my table
and I saID to her: come with me.
We both went upstairs to AN old room,
until the dawn we loved each other,
she accompanied me up to my ship
and I gave her my ring as a memento.

I will return, I will return
    because I love you,
I will return up to your port,
I will return, you will be my star
if you wait FOR me, I will return.

I have not returned TO THE tavern.
She askS the sailors ABOUT ME,
she sitS there next to THE door
    and sighs FOR my return.
If anyone gives her A cup,
she(1) goes out because she shows him my ring.
    It isn't a broken promise,
it is already the story of a commitment.
