Bad Reputation

In my village, without pretension,  I have a bad reputation,
whatever thing which I do is the same, it will be considered badly,
I am not thinking to do any damage by trying to live out of flock.
No, people don't like that one have has his own faith,...
Everyone looks me badly, except blind so it's natural.

When it's the national day I stay on my bed anyway, because the military music could never get me up.
So There is no major sin in the world that not to follow the standard-bearer.
No, people...
Everyone points me with their finger, except the armless men, I want to but I can't.

If in the street a thief is running away and a rich man is pursuing him,
I provoke the fall of the Sir and the persecutor is crushed.
That will be really such a drag, I have always to put my foot in it.
No, people...
Everyone runs behind of me, except the lame, it's credible.

    No, people don't like that
one [] has his own faith,...
    Everyone looks AT me badly,
    except THE blind, AS EXPECTED.

So there is no GREATER sin in the world
THAN not to follow the standard-bearer.

    and the pursUER(1) is crushed.
That will be really such a drag,
I ALWAYS have to put my foot in it.

    (1) Look up the difference between "pursuer" and "persecuter".
    (2) I think that "believe me" (créeme) would convey this better.
    (3) option: No matter what I do...

  2. (2) "es de creer" means "you can believe it because it is obviously true" however when you say "believe me" it is not necessary to be obvious. you just want to convince of the truth. "es de creer" is a way to say "está claro"="it's clear"

You are a great pursuer of mistakes, as expected
