(2) I think that "believe me" (créeme) would convey this better.

(2) "es de creer" means "you can believe it because it is obviously true" however when you say "believe me" it is not necessary to be obvious. you just want to convince of the truth. "es de creer" is a way to say "está claro"="it's clear"
