Why "how much time" is better than "how long"?
ReplyDeleteHmmm... we say "How long have you been here?" but "How much time have you spent here?" "How much time have you been here?" is OK but not great. I guess "How long have you spent here?" is OK, but it didn't sound right to me at first. It seems like there is a strong connection between "spend" and "time".
