From Afar

You never heard about me anymore, however I kept thinking of you.
from the whole nostalgia  that left how long was already spent and I never forgot you.

How many times did I think coming? and to say that my love has not changed at all,
but my silent was major and I am dying day by day from afar though you don't realize it.

The rest of our love far away stayed forgotten for you,
I am living in the past yet, although I know that all is different
I know that I won't forget you.

I knew to leave loving you once and for all, it was so hard for me,
If anytime you think of me, my love, be aware I never forgot you.
Lyrics(A popular Brasilian singer)

  1. You never heard about me anymore, however I kept thinking of you.
IN the whole nostalgia that REMAINED how MUCH TIME was already spent and I never forgot you.

How many times did I think OF RETURNING? and to say that my love haD not changed at all,
but my silenCE was major and I am dying day by day from afar(1) though you don't realize it.

The rest of our love STAYED far away forgotten for you,
I am living in the past yet, although I know that all is different
    I know that I won't forget you.

I knew to STOP loving you once and for all, it was so hard for me,
If anytime you think of me, my love, be aware I never forgot you.

  2. Why "how much time" is better than "how long"?

  3. Hmmm... we say "How long have you been here?" but "How much time have you spent here?" "How much time have you been here?" is OK but not great. I guess "How long have you spent here?" is OK, but it didn't sound right to me at first. It seems like there is a strong connection between "spend" and "time".
