Family and Money... What a Danger!

We have a lovely couple like neighbours. They live in the flat opposite. Chusma (Jesús María) is about 35 years old and is from Spain. He is a guy very nice and hard worker. He has got some vineyards and spends his life working on the land. Ainoa is 30 years old and comes from Chile. She is a pretty, clever and pleasant girl. I could say one only defect of she and it is that she is very talkative. I am not surprised. They do not have many friends here in Logroño. She spends a lot of time alone in the house and takes advantage when she meets with the neighbours. They had a son a year ago. Miguel is nice and strong like his father. They have been living in their flat for about five years.

Two months ago the Chusma's father died. They were a bitter days. When I met him in the lift, his face was like a poem. I felt very sorry for him. But this is not the sadest of the story.

The real sad thing is that they are about to leave for Chile. Suddenly, very suddenly. Chusma does not withstand neither the presure nor the selfishness, but over all, he hates the lust for money of his two sisters, her greed.

There are land and money to share, and his sisters want most of inheritance.

Chusma already does not want anything. He feels disgust. He feels grief. He abandons. They are leaving. They do not want to know anything. He has put to the sell (in a quickly and badly way) all their possessions. It is a big pity. It is a violent thing, but it is definitive. They are leaving. It has broken his heart to see so much misery in the human condition.
