About my secret desires,
about my personality,
about my eagerness and my dreams,
what does no one know?
About my real life
about my way of thinking
about my crying and my laughing
what...
what does no one know
what I like and don't like of this world?
what does no one know
what I prefer or don't prefer in love?
Sometimes I heard some buzzing,
and I don't care and I laugh and I wonder.
what..
if I even know what I want
what...
why my heart is throbbing of excitement.
About my pleasures and my intimate desires
what....
About what I worry,
which don't let me sleep,
about what my life looks for

About why I always give my soul
when I start to sing,
about why about my hollow laugh

(1) I wonder if "oir sin querer" could be translated as "to overhear".
about why/what about my hollow laugh, is it wrong or redundant?
ReplyDelete(1) yes, because according to dictionary "overhear" is to hear by accident.
But in Spanish "to hear a buzzing/gossip", we think that it is because someone told it, in most of cases and not just by accident.
I couldn't make sense of "about why/what about my hollow laugh".
ReplyDelete"Buzzing" did not make me think of gossip; it might be more of a UK term. "Chatter", "idle talk", or "malicious talk" would be more common here.
