I Am Going To Sail

I am leaving far away
I came to say goodbye
God only knows whether
I have to come back someday.

I leave everything,
I carry no things,
why do I need things
if at the end of time
they will make me suffer.

If someone asks you
where I am heading,
tell him that I left
without even knowing
where going.

I'm going to walk
I'm going to navigate
for seeing if in that way
I can forget you.

May be, the time will remove for ever
your treacherous love
May be, someday will come up to my life
a real love.

(1)"To navigate" means to steer or provide directions during the travel. To travel by boat is "to sail", even on ships without sails.

(2)"To leave" is to move from the current location. It makes no reference to the destination. You could say "I am leaving for Chicago", or some other destination, but "leaving for far away" still sounds strange.

  2. (1) It makes me angry because when I went to bed yesterday, I remembered that "navigate" was another meaning.
Thank you Matt. Let me correct the title alluding to the well known Spanish's sense of ridiculous :)
