Another example of provocation as the cheapest form of publicity.

  2. I agree.
A crowded place where people enjoy, we called: "Un lugar con/de buen ambiente" or simply "un lugar de ambiente", in slang "un lugar con ambientazo".
So we talk about "lugares de ambiente gay" , "lugares de ambiente punk", etc, they are crowded places with people with the same way of thinking.
how is this said in English?

by the way "hipster" must be a type of urban musical subculture.

  3. We use the word "ambiance" (with a French pronunciation) in a similar way. So, to translate:
"está situado en una zona de ambiente «hipster» de Hoxton, al este de Londres"
    I might say:
is situated/located in a zone with a "hipster" ambience, in Hoxton, to the east of London.
