I think this week has been an important week for the world. Scottish people had the chance of deciding if they wanted to be an independent country or keep being part of the United Kindomg.
The rest of the world, was expecting the final result, because nationalisms are on rise in this moment, not only here in Spain but also in the rest of the world.
The fact of separating of your country, would trigger serious consecuences to the rest of the world. These new countries would be weaker, and never would have an important international support. Big companies would go away, and the economy of these new countries would be damaged.
In my opinion, all countries have a lot of different backgrounds, and I think this fact makes that the culture of each country is better, interesting, rich.....
Achieving the wellbeing of our society must be the duty of all our politicians. We have to live together, sharing our traditions, and always with respect to the rest of the world and people.
There are serious international problems to cope with , for instance: Ebola, Ukraine, and now the worst in the new confict where journalist are being beheaded. This is what our politicians must solve. It's unfair, and sad.

(1) "chance to decide" sounds better to me
(2) Delete this ",". Don't separate the subject from the verb.
(3) "in this moment" is good English, but "right now" sounds more natural.
(4) good use of "cope with"
This is a well-structured essay.
Personally, I have always felt sorry for the Spain's history, we are always facing each other. perhaps with the exception for when we were threaten by another country.
