"Se abre el telón..."

We have been talking about the word telón" in this blog. But we forgot one of the most importat use of this word: the "se abre el telón..." jokes...

Se abre el telón y se ve un tetra-brick de Don Simon. Se cierra el telón, ¿Cómo se llama la película? Es tinto básico. (Instinto Básico)

As the curtain is opened, a $1 red wine bottle appears.  Closing the curtain. How the film is called?... It is a rudimentary red wine. (Basic Instinct).

Hilarious?

    As the curtain is opened, a $1 red wine bottle appears. The curtain CLOSES. WHAT IS the film called?... It is a rudimentary red wine. (Basic Instinct).

    Me costó mucho entenderlo, pero busqué "chiste se abre el telón" en Internet y encontré otros ejemplos. Ahora comprendo el formato de este tipo de chiste.

    Voy a tratar de escribir un ejemplo bilingüe:

    Se abre el telón y se ve Juan Carlos I comiendo un melocotón. Se cierra el telón. ¿Cómo se llama la película?

    " Se abre el telón" it is used to describe or to say when a play of theatre is open. " Se cierra el telón" when the play is closed. Another use not comented here. I think.
