I want
to write about everything, but I can't write about anything. So many
interesting topics come to my mind: the Olympic Games, a continuing
education course, the 2012 US presidential election, a beach day, my
new exercise routing, a cooking recipe... Unfortunately, no sentences
are flowing out of my mind. I have the topics, the ideas, and the pen
ready in my hand, but the blank page is still there without a single
sentence.
Well,
I have finished a boring paragraph about nothing, just free writing.
Some days my mind is not in the right mood for writing. I will save
the above-mentioned topics for another day.
Do you have writer's block frequently? What
is your favorite method to overcome a writer's block?

This is well done, Alex, even if boring :-). Yes, I have writer's block often enough. Sometimes I just try to use some new vocabulary that I've learned. I also imitate sentence structures that I've seen.
Even writing in Spanish I have some problems.
ReplyDelete"Routing", that was an inexcusable mistake.
