Enough Problems

I have been glancing to the news to see if I could find something interesting. Interesting or not, everything seems to me depressing. My mind is not open in these moments for so many misfortunes. I am too much concentrating in my daily problems. It may sound too selfish, but I feel a bit tired and bored. I already have a lot of issues to worry about and they all happen around me. I try not to be very offline from the outside world but just now, I can not digest more bad news. I am not depressed, despite appearances, it is only that I am overloaded with worries. The work, the mortgage, the money, the health, the age, my wife, my children, the house, the future... like Matt, I wonder, How anyone can waste his life in that way?, in reference to the pair of guys, and Boston. Are not there already enough problems in the world?. Have not already enough problems each person?.

Very good, Eduardo. Good vocabulary and usage: glancing, digest, overloaded.

I think it's good for us to stay aware of what is going on, but that does not mean that we have to follow the news every day, especially these days when so much information can be so overwhelming, and a lot of what's available is just a rehash of what we read yesterday or last week.

  2. I am agree with you.
Just a curiosity: I looked for "desconectado" in the dictionary. I heard the word "disconnected" but I wasn't sure of its writing. The dictionary said: "inconexo, incoherente". I though it was a "false friend". I wanted to say "desconectado de la realidad, del mundo exterior" and I though that I couldn't use that word in this context. Now, for what I see, I can use it. Can I?.

  3. Yes, "disconnected from reality, from the outside world" makes perfect sense.
