The farewell was in Spanish because it's more expressive for me. (better: ...because I can express myself better that way.)
ReplyDeleteIt would be a suitable host for the 2014 FIFA world cup. To me, the "It" here sounds a bit funny, because I usually think of a host as a person or persons. But if a city or country had just been mentioned, "it" would probably be fine.

It seems to me a case of fixing. Just to be clear, "fixing" here means that someone altered the contest ahead of time to make it unfair.
