Anduriña

I listened one day in Galicia,
an old story in a café.
It was a little girl who fled from the village,
young Anduriña who flew.

They are crying upon thinking where she would be,
but no one wants to be going to look for her.
Anduriña was called by those who she left there,
Come back to port soon, please.

A grandfather is close to home,
he speaks me and smile me with evil.
Anduriña is young, she will return, you will see,
she is a little bird without feathers.

She will land in a grey day,
her mystery won't already be itself.
By the name Anduriña she won't be called,
But, by the way, where is she?

  1. I listened one day in Galicia,
TO an old story in a café.
It was ABOUT a little girl who fled from the village,
    young Anduriña who flew AWAY.

They are crying upon thinking where she would be,
but no one wants to be going to look for her.
Anduriña was called by those who she left there,
Come back to port soon, please.

A grandfather is close to home,
he speaks TO me and smileS AT me with evil INTENT.
Anduriña is young, she will return, you will see,
she is a little bird without feathers.

She will land in a grey day,
her mystery won't already be itself.
By the name Anduriña she won't be called,
But, by the way, where is she?
