The reason argued by Fb is that their pictures are pornography.
PORNOGRAPHY: Facebook seems not to be an innocent tool. By contrast, it is something able to decide what is good and what is bad for the entire society. Three years ago, Social networks were truly important to organize and develop Arab Spring, and Spanish 15M movements. But the autumn has come to social networks, not only because governments are able to access to their data bases but also because they are provided with a style book, that may be written to avoid confrontation with the big companies with whom FB has to deal with in the Stock Market.
REVOLUTION: Why is censurable women showing their chest in a virtual world where you can find nude more than any other thing?. Because is there a message behind that is spreading?. It was Pussy Riots musical group who developped an anti-Putin message song who suffered the price of spreading messages. The political message was turned into a religious fact (the song was sung in a Ortodox Church), and they were judged for going against the Religious Order. Ukranina Femen group is considered pornographic when they have an essential difference in relation with real pornography: they have a message.
We can discuss if that is an appropiate message or not, but what is called pornography is not as different as many advertisment we can see in our magazines or cities.
So please, when you post an image in FB or in any other SocialNetwork, be sure that you are not posting an advertisment to your personal cause, because they are the only allowed to recommend you what to buy. You are not let to recommend others what to think.

I believe Facebook can work for the good and the bad, for example during the London riots, people were organising groups though Facebook to loot the shops and organize gangs to burn buildings and destroy property. On the other hand many criminals have been caught by having their faces posted on Facebook. For example the stupid people who looted the shops then put photos of themselves showing everything they had stolen from the shops, needless to say, they were soon arrested by the police.
