Charisma is a interpersonal skills package to fascinate others, it has to do with your nonverbal language or your verbal language.
This can be confused with personal skills or personal qualities, namely: awesome, intelligent, leader, funny etc...But those are only personal skills, so it is possible that one person is perfect but not having charisma. Even a person with bad qualities or quite imperfections might be charismatic. Who doesn't remember any charismatic actor playing a bad role?
Haven't you ever met anyone with any imperfections that catch your eye?
In my opinion the main features to be charismatic are: special skills managing strong facial expressiveness, elegance and eloquence when speaking.
I think that studying dramatic art is a good idea to improve these skills.

(1) It would be better for these to be nouns, like awesomeness, intelligence, etc.
Interesting topic. Jack Nicholson is certainly an interesting case.
Ok thanks, Matt
