The best years of our life

(I am going to translate a song that it doesn't get out my head)

I know I have been a misfortune in your life,
bumping with me was a curse,
having to bear me must be a ruin,
seeing me so irresponsible must give dread.
I am now hearing that you are crying in another room,
sorry to say that I didn't never learn to say I'm sorry,
It's raining in my heart.
I know I am a disaster and I am hopeless,
I do and say things I shouldn't never do,
I want you know very well that although I am drunk again,
there is a feverish corner in my crazy heart where it burns a sun for you.
so although you are far away and you are reading this lines,
you can be sure it all goes equal,
the same amount of fines in the trash
and an empty bottle you hid badly
and that guitar I know I won't never be able to play,
I am pleasure to make you a song
and so, it speaks instead of me.

I know I have been a misfortune in your life,
bumping INTO me was a curse,
having to bear WITH me must be a ruin,
seeing me so irresponsible must give dread.
I am now hearing [] you [] crying in another room,
sorry to say that I didn't Ever learn to say I'm sorry,
    It's raining in my heart.
I know I am a disaster and I am hopeless,
I do and say things I shouldn't Ever do,
I want you TO know very well that although I am drunk again,
there is a feverish corner in my crazy heart where A SUN burns for you.
so although you are far away and you are reading thESE lines,
you can be sure it all goes THE SAME,
the same amount of TICKETS* in the trash
and an empty bottle you hid badly
and that guitar I know I won't Ever** be able to play,
IT IS A pleasure to make you a song
and so, it speaks instead of me.***

*To me, the "fine" is the financial penalty associated with a "ticket" (the piece of paper).

**I know you won't Ever make this mistake again. :-)

***I would translate this last part as:
...that guitar that I know I will never master well enough to write you a song and have it speak for me.

  2. thanks a million, probably would be necessary to say ticket fines?

  3. I don't think so. One can't throw a fine, only the ticket or paper that indicates fine. You could say traffic tickets or parking tickets...
