All around Christmas!

According to Roberto's post, I have been thinking about his message.
Yesterday, while I was walking on the streets, I saw all shops with nice messages, full of flashy colours inviting you to enter and obviously to consumer, to buy things. Most of them unnecessary things.
I wonder, what would happen if our ancestors would have lived in this period? Probably they will never understand these days. Nothing compared with the time they lived. All these advertisements would make them crazy.
What is better, these moments or that moments.? Obviously now we live in better conditions than before. When they celebrated Chritsmas, they haven't got enough resources. They kept the best things for these days ( eg. animals, fruit ....)
They made little gifts, but pretty useful,
Now we spend our money in foolish things, without thinking if it's necessary spend the money. Someone thinks that the more money you spend, the merrior. We are teaching our children to live in a consumerism society.
Shops are  machines to make money in these days, They helped themselves with the advertisements full o red colours, or messages to spend your money. And what about streets? Full of lights, ....
Definetively, we have lost the Christmas feelling.
MERRY CHRISTMAS.
