I love it
Sometimes I like to listen to english songs not only because they are stimulating but it's possible to learn too. I refer not only at language but the way artist show their fantasy on videos that definitly is such a one that people like to watch.
it turns out interesting to listen spanish song in english version and to pay attention to songs lyrics. I felt to discover a new world when I could understand the lyrics in english version because they seemed me more beautiful. For instance, chiquitita from Abba group, they suited the translation forcing lyric to music and it turned out, in my opinion, a botched job. But business are business, and so, the song was more comercial. I have posted a modern song with both versions, Have fun!

I refer not only TO language but ALSO TO the way artistS show their fantasIES on videos that definitEly ARE THE TYPE that people like to watch. It turns out interesting to listen TO A Spanish song in AN English version and to pay attention to THE song'S lyrics. I felt LIKE I WAS discoverING a new world when I could understand the lyrics in AN English version because they seemed more beautiful TO ME. ReplyDeleteGood practice, Roberto. I watched both videos. I wasn't sure which was the original, but I guessed right that it was the English version. I couldn't understand all the Spanish, but I noticed that 70s/90s in English was changed to 80s/2000 in Spanish. Interesting. By studying Spanish I am definitely encountering more of pop culture that I otherwise would.
thanks, I thnk that I have a long way for learning english. I suppose they changed to 70s/90s to 80s/2000 because it is more emphatic and has generaional major contrast. As I noticed your interest for the liryc song, so I have look for you. Have fun again.
