Thanks giving day -- Christmas

The end of the year is coming, and in less of one month we are going to celebrate two different events. In The United States, Thanksgiving day is the most important event, while in Europe ( and in the rest of the world e.g Central, South America...) Christmas.
In the United States, are going to celebrate something like the first men in the foundation of the States. I don't know if it is correct, Matt, but you told me something like that. In  Europe Christmas is a catholic event. But I think both of them are too far of their origns. Now both are a commercial parties. It's a pity because we feel driven to buy wiht any sense.
After Thanksgiving day ... the Black Friday and in Europe ... Sales.
Commercial or are they promoting the family reunions?

There certainly are a lot of pressures to corrupt the original spirit of these holidays. But we do not have to give in to these pressures. We can control how we pass the time and to what we give our attention. That's something to be thankful for.

    1. you are right Matt. But advertisements are diven us to buy to consume in things that we don't need. Only a little detail can be the best gift, present., Only a reunion with your family can be the best moment of the day. But remember, Thanksgiving day like Christmas day can be celebrated every day. Not only in a determinated day.
