Si + condicional => error

Sólo me gustaría agregar algo:

    Si+ condicional = EXPERIENCIA

    Good job Matt!!

  2. This was such a challenge!!!

    1. If I would really be interested in learning not to use the conditional, I would have to practice with sentences like this one.

    2. (I am really confused with this one)

    - If I would be interested in not repeating the mistake, I should write in a correct way.

    or

    - If I were interested in not repeating......

    I am not sure.....

    3. If I am interested in boring the other members of this blog, this is an excellent way to do it.

Thanks for the challenge, though my head is spinning now!

    1. All of your answers are correct. Sometimes you will also see "should" used where you used "would". The "should" does not introduce any sense of obligation. There is another form that you may encounter: "were to...". For example:
If I were to be interested in learning...

In fact, this "were to" form is what I think of when I encounter words like interesara (were to be interested), pensara (were to think), and pudiera (were to be able).

As I said before, the subjunctive in English is a mess.

  3. Thank you Matt! The challenge was difficult but really useful! Thanks for your comments, I have seen than kind of sentences that you are talking about but I did not understand them until now (I mean that form).
And you are right...the subjuntive is a mess!
It was a really interesting challenge! Great idea!
