He put ON the cap of station master and checked the traffic lights and the operation of THE needle system. He checked that the rail tracks wERE cleared AS FAR AS HE COULD see. Later by completing the protocol, he checked the suspension of wagons, and FOLLOWING the ritual of A motorman, he stroked the locomotive. Everything was in order, then he waved a pennant. Then his father benT down to plug the POWER CORD inTO the electrical socket of the living room. And he personally gave the signal to start.(Winner of COMPETITION of short stories of RENFE)
ReplyDeleteI should know the vocabulary of what I do everyday as to bend down to plug the power cord into the electrical socket. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYes, for whatever reason it's difficult to learn the vocabulary of everyday things. I'm sure I could not say that sentence well in Spanish.
